I have to agree with the other reviewer, if they let us give negative stars, Pryor Walmart Automotive would get nothing but negative stars. What a joke this place is and it is a very bad joke at that.
I took my truck in for an oil change and to have the tire rotated and balanced (8-9-16). I called in advance to check how busy they were. They said that at moment they were not busy so I drove the 10 minute drive there. When I got there, there was one car in the oil change bay and one in the tire bay. I was told that it would probably be an hour until my oil was changed and tires were rotated and balanced. I said that that would be fine.
So I went through the store and about 15 minutes later walked back to check on things. The car was still in the oil change bay and the tire bay was empty. Back to browsing the store. 10 minutes later I check back and my truck was in the oil change bay with the hood up and was the only vehicle in the automotive shop. ( I should mention at this time that there were 4 people working in the automotive area when I arrived.) I check back every 15 minutes or so and for the next hour the truck just sat there with no other cars in the shop and I had past all 4 techs through out the store and 2 of them several times. I finally went into the bay area and ask why my truck had been in the bay for well over an hour and was still just sitting there? I got an apology for it taking so long and that was all. He said that it would be finished in a couple minutes and was told that the tire had already been rotated and balanced. I went back into the store and about 10 minutes later I was told that the tire had not been rotated and balanced yet and that it would be another 15 minutes.
PS It will only let me post this if I give them at least 1 star. So under protest they get 1 star just so it will be posted.
Walmart just didn't want to do the job!
About 30 minutes later one of the tech walked by the window and tossed my keys in on the check out desk. I did not know it was my keys until 10 to 15 minutes later the checker walked over and picked them up and called my name. Then I saw that they charged me for balancing the tires. I called them out on it. (I bought the tires there and bought the lifetime balancing and rotation with the tires) The girl had to call a manager who looked at the invoice and said here is where they charge $36 and here is where they reversed the charge. I then pointed to the next line where the charged another $36. He said "huh?" and then took another 5 to 10 minutes to process the refund.
If I could give this place negative stars I definitely would. It's about what you would expect from this organization. I wouldn't be surprised if they were ranked just below door greeters on the Walton hierarchy. Never go here unless you are taking an enemies car for repair or enjoy a leisurely all-day wait for a task el amigo did in 10 minutes. To sum it all up: Walmart Pryor, OK = Barf.
Not satisfied with my service at all. Very slow. Took 2 hours to get an oil change. Finally declined tire rotation so I could leave.
We used to go to Walmart for oil changes all the time. Then Walmart said that the pile drain plug was cross-threaded, so couldn't be changed. LOL! Well, if it were cross-threaded, Walmart did it on the previous oil change! Had the pile changed at my mechanic's shop after that, but they didn't see anything unusual.
If I was the store manager I would be shutting down that part of the store if I couldn't hire anyone anymore competent that what they have.
