Finally, we seemed to come to an agreement and we started paperwork. I made clear I did NOT want GAP insurance and I kid you not, every time they came back to me with a break down it still included GAP. I thought they finally got the hint and when I went to actually sign papers the payment had changed and I started getting frustrated. Guess what they said? “Oh, well that’s with GAP insurance.” They literally tried to sneak it in there and hoped I wouldn’t notice or would just give in!

When I say 1 star I mean all that toward management. I have bought a new vehicle every year for the last 5 years. Anthony (the manager) tried to lie to me. Here is my situation. I owed 28k on my truck. They offered me 21500 on trade in. Until they got me approved and wanted me to come in. Then he kept cutting me off in the phone and saying 20700. They changed the price without telling me. I put 5k down and got ready to pick up my new car. Got a call from Anthony and he tried to tell me my payments and my term which ended up being me paying 24k for a 11.5k car. I asked questions. Anthony didn't want to answer them. He kept changing the subject and not telling me my interest rate. Which was an overall 26% with a 740 credit score with 2k in negative equity on a 11500 dollar car. All I will say now is they will get you a cheap payment, but always multiply your monthly payment to your total months owed. My 13500 loan turned out to cost me 24500 dollars. Why is that. It's because they go through their bank not yours. And they also bait and switch which I have heard from 2 reliable previous employees. So do not buy from them. Salesman are great, management is the worst I have ever seen and I have seen a lot of dealerships. Trust me. Go to another dealership. You will not regret it.

After I saw they dropped the price (which they could have done with me in the first place but didn’t because I suppose they just didn’t want a sale sooner), I decided to email the initial salesman I had talked to and tell him what I wanted for my car and if they could do that, we’d have a deal. He told me he his “manager might be able to squeeze that much out of it”. So I returned to the dealership...

I have never had such a terrible car buying experience, and I am an extremely patient and understanding person. I also never post reviews on businesses so that alone should tell you how sincere I am about this. If the car I got had not been the price it was I would have never tolerated what I did with this dealership, and honestly, I shouldn’t have even with the price it was.

I love this place! We got a brand new beautiful car today with very little down payment. This has been the most hassle free car buying experience that we have ever had! This is our second time buying a car from this company and we will definitely be back again. No other dealer can compare to Roberts Auto, not even Jim Glover Chevrolet. We are VERY impressed with the service we received from Roberts Auto in Pryor, OK. Thanks again!

Friendly service and great value. Curtis was very friendly and helpful from the very beginning and made sure that I was taken care of now and in the future. Doug is a very good listener and looked out for my best interest with the financing.

My second problem was that after I was told my credit had only been ran once, I got multiple emails notifying me the next day that I had four different inquiries. When I called to see why they had lied to me, no one that had dealt with me previously called me back. Multiple inquiries can drop your credit quick. Extremely rude conduct in my book.

Believe it or not, it doesn’t end there. During this entire process, it was made clear that a family member would be the co-signer and me the primary signer so I could get a better interest rate. After all was said and done, they had switched it on us to make them the primary borrower and me the co-borrower. No one said anything about it changing. Maybe that’s not the end of the world to some, but after everything we went through it was the cherry on top of a gigantic deceit sundae.

They played the back and forth game with me for hours about the trade in on my car until I finally had enough and left because I simply had been there too long and they could not get anywhere near what it was actually worth. The run around was not appreciated. Not to mention, we dealt with three different employees through all of it - building a customer relationship is not a priority there obviously.

I can not convey to you enough how much I do not recommend this dealership. The only words that come to my mind are: deceitful, conniving, and fake. Do not go here for your next car.

Hands down, the best car buying experience we've ever had. We were in and out in 2 hours and driving off in a really nice vehicle. We bought ours about 45 days ago and were so pleased that we sent my father in law up there yesterday and he bought a car. His experience was just as good as ours. I can't remember the salesman's name, Joseph I think, but he was great to both of us. His nickname was the Dark Knight! If you want a great, no hassle car buying experience, go to the Roberts Chevrolet lot (they also own the Dodge lot and the old Pryor Ford) and ask for The Dark Knight! I guarantee you'll be glad you did!

They tried to DROP what they had told me they’d give me for my car AND tried to raise the price of the car I wanted above what it was listed for! The smell of shady was palpable. Still I gave them a chance to get right.
